Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd who plays David Platt took to twitter today to announce that his girlfriend was pregnant with the couple’s second child.
The star tweeted out the news that he and his girlfriend, Lauren Shippey were “both very happy”, according to Digital Spy.
Shepherd and Shippey already have a four-year-old daughter Nyla together.
They have been dating since they were both 14 and even managed to weather cheating allegations involving Shepherd in 2010.
Fans tweeted their congratulations but seeing as Shepherd’s character David Platt is currently involved in a sort of love triangle between girlfriend Kylie and brother Nick, there were many who asked “is it Nick’s.”
Shepherd thought the allegations were hilarious.
