Congrats! Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy have welcomed their second child

Homeland's Claire Danes and her husband, Hugh Dancy, have welcomed their second child. The actress gave birth on Monday, August 27, according to AP News. There is no word on what the newborn's name is. The 39-year-old surprised fans earlier this year when she announced on The Howard Stern Show that she was "seriously preggo", before adding:

"I'm deep into my second trimester."

She later added that the couple are keen to keep the baby's gender a secret - though she joked that they would be naming their baby after the radio DJ (Howardina, if it's a girl). Danes and Dancy first met on the set of the 2006 drama, Evening, before tying the knot in 2009. They welcomed their son, Cyrus, in 2012. The 39-year-old previously opened up about motherhood in the February 2013 edition of Elle, admitting she was nervous about working and being a mum. She said:

“I’ve always wanted to have kids, but I’m glad I didn’t until now. When I was thinking about [working and being a mother] originally, I was really nervous about it. “I think I would make a lousy stay-at-home mom. It just wouldn’t suit me. I feel so fortunate, in that I’ve had this arrow-straight focus that I wanted to act.”
