Comedian and television presenter Justin Lee Collins has been found guilty of harassing his former partner Anna Larke by a UK court.

Collins, 38, has been ordered to carry out 140 hours of community service following the verdict.

During the course of the trial Larke claimed that Collins had previously subjected her to abuse of both an emotional and physical nature, including humiliating her over her sexual history and forcing her to quit social networking sites as well as physical attacks.

A recording played in court captured a row between the former couple in July of last year where Collins claimed Larke: “brought the demon out” (in him), and called her a “f**king s**g”.

Collins, left, found fame hosting ‘The Friday Night Project’ with Alan Carr, right,

Larke and Collin began seeing each other in 2007, while Collins was still married. After a split in 2008 they reunited in 2010, and were together until late last summer.

Collins had denied the charges, and in court claimed that their relationship was: “absolute hell”, and that Larke was “crazy”.

But the finding did not go in his favour, and Collins was sentenced to carry out 140-hours unpaid work within the next 18 months as well as paying £3,500 in prosecution costs.
