Cole Sprouse shared the cutest birthday tribute to Lili Reinhart

Cole Sprouse shared the cutest tribute to Lili Reinhart to celebrate her birthday.

The Riverdale stars - who are a couple both on-screen and off - were rumoured to have split earlier this year. And after the news of their maybe-kind-of-possible breakup started doing the rounds, they took to Instagram to poke fun at "reliable sources" and respond to the split reports. Just in case there was any remaining confusion about their relationship status, Cole took to Instagram on Friday to share an adorable tribute for Lili's birthday. Alongside the photo booth style photos, he said:

“Lil @lilireinhart was born on a Friday the 13th and haven’t I just been so lucky ever since?”

It comes days after Lili gave an update about their relationship in an interview with Coveteur, where she was discussing her new film Hustlers.  The actress was asked about her talent in special effects makeup, and in her answer she made a point of calling Cole her boyfriend. She said:

“I am [good at special-effects makeup]! Oh my god, I haven’t done that in a really long time, actually. I kind of went from special-effects makeup to face painting. So I’ve done a lot in the past. "Now I don’t really have the time, which sounds so stupid, but I really don’t. "It takes a lot of time to do those things. I think I’m leaning in toward a character for Halloween. "I think I’m going to do it with my boyfriend, Cole. I don’t want to spoil it if it’s not going to happen, but it’s a TV duo.”
