Jeremy Clarkson is embroiled in another racism row – this time for naming his new puppy Didier Dogba.
The Top Gear presenter posted a photo to his Twitter account of his new canine friend, introducing the latest addition to his pack to his followers:

Clarkson named his dog after Didier Drogba, who scored 157 goals for Chelsea during an eight year career with the club – the same club Clarkson supports.
Surprised by a Twitter backlash, with users accusing the TV presenter of being ‘casually racist’, the presenter defended his pet’s name asking:
Why is it racist to name our amazingly brilliant dog after a footballer?

Clarkson has been reprimanded for alleged racists terms in the past, and was criticised for labelling Mexicans ‘lazy and flatulent’ on the BBC motor show in 2o11.
