Christine Bleakley said she is extremely independent and does not like to be labeled a WAG despite her engagement to footballer Frank Lampard.
According to The Irish Sun, the TV presenter said that she is very proud of her ability to take care of herself and doesn’t need a man to support her.
“I’ve always been fiercely independent. That comes from my mum – she drummed it into me at an early age that I should always have my own identity and should never rely on others for my happiness.

“So I’ve always taken pride in being able to look after myself. I might be the girlfriend of a footballer but I’ve got my own career,” she said.
The County Down beauty became engaged to Frank last year and the pair may be marrying in Portofino, Italy like fellow footballer Wayne Rooney and his wife Colleen.
Christine’s show ITV1 show Daybreak was cancelled last year.
“The show was built up to be the greatest thing to happen to TV for years. It meant we were asking for our downfall,” she said.
