Chris Brown is reportedly being sued for $20 million for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a woman.
The woman who is a professional choreographer, dancer, model and musical artist has claimed that the singer brought her to Diddy’s Miami yacht party when the incident occurred.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, she alleged that Brown handed her a drink as they were talking, and when he refilled her cup, she felt “a sudden, unexplained change in consciousness.”
She added that she was “disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep” and Brown then took her to a bedroom while she was “drugged” and “half asleep.”
She then said that he shut the bedroom door and removed her bikini bottoms before allegedly raping her despite her telling him to stop.
The lawsuit then claims Brown messaged her the following day, demanding she takes the morning after pill.
It also stated that the woman did not report the incident to police as she was a medical student at the time and was embarrassed. Brown has yet to respond to the allegations.
Brown has had a string of allegations and controversy following him through his career, starting with the 2009 assault on then girlfriend Rihanna.
In 2014, the singer spent over 100 days in prison after he violated his parole stemming from the incident with Rihanna.
His ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran has since gotten a restraining order against him following allegations of controlling behaviour after their 2015 split.
In June of last year, it was reported that the singer was under investigation for battery but was never arrested or charged. The following month, it was alleged that he was being sued by a housekeeper who claimed she witnessed him attacking his dog.
