Uh-oh, it seems as though Chris Brown isn’t willing to accept the current lawsuit against him. In fact, a rep for the singer has said that the lawsuit itself is completely “frivolous.”
Yesterday we reported that Chris Brown and Drake are both being sued over a nightclub brawl which saw their respective entourages flinging bottles and generally causing a scene. How did the brawl start?
Well, if rumours are to be believed, Chris sent Drake a bottle of champagne as a gesture of goodwill and Drake returned the bottle along with a message that said: “I f**ked the love of your life.” Now, we’re no detectives, but we’re pretty sure Drake’s message had a little something to do with Rihanna.
Drake reportedly sent Chris a nasty message about Rihanna…
Anyway, needless to say all hell is reported to have broken loose when Drake sent the bottle back to Chris and now, the two musicians are being sued by a company that is affiliated with W.i.P nightclub in New York City (the club where the brawl took place).
“It’s a frivolous lawsuit,” said a spokesman for Chris Brown.
Frivolous and all as it may be, the two boys are being sued because they instigated, encouraged and failed to stop the huge fight that broke out between members of both their entourages.
“It’s their posse, and they’re in charge, and to the extent that they could have controlled or dissipated whatever was going on, we don’t believe they did,” said Andrew Miltenberg, one of the lawyer’s involved in the case.
Hmm…from now on it’d probably be a good idea if Chris kept his drinks to himself and if Drake stepped away from the pen and paper…
