Former X-Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has unleashed an attack on a teen girl at the centre of a media storm, after a video of her performing sex acts on a group of men in Magaluf went viral last month.
The clip, which showed a young girl performing sex acts in exchange for alcohol at the Spanish resort, caused outrage after it went viral online.
The Pussycat Dolls singer slammed the girl’s actions and called on parents to make sure their children are growing up with moral values.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Nicole said:
“Child, you better get on your knees and pray – after you disinfect your mouth. You better find God and ask for forgiveness.
“I’ll give her a drink, a smack in the head. You’re talking to a girl who grew up in a Catholic family, my grandfather is a priest, my mum taught me strong morals.
“The parents have to teach these kids these moral values, it’s sad. She’s degrading herself to nothing.”
The singer went on to say she feels like her own protégé Jahmene Douglas could set the young woman a good example, referring to him as a “living angel”.
Nicole’s outburst comes just a week after former Celebrity Big Brother housemate and Apprentice star Luisa Zissman defended the girl, saying:
“We’ve all been young and irresponsible. Unfortunately for her, it’s deemed newsworthy and so she has the nation’s judgemental eye glaring over her like a spotlight.”
Spanish mayor Manuel Onieva has since ordered a police investigation into the incident after the shocking footage of the British holidaymaker emerged online.
