Cheryl reveals the only person she trusts with baby Bear (and it’s not Liam Payne)

When it comes to one-year-old, Bear, Cheryl has proved she's very protective over who spends time with the little tot.

Revealing she feels a lot of "mum guilt" when she's preoccupied working and not with her son, Cheryl admits that at the moment she's just trying to figure it all out as a single mom, juggling the relaunch of her career alongside the growth of her son.

"I’m still figuring it out, still finding new emotions I’ve never felt before. I’ve got 'Mam guilt', definitely. And it all feels different. But it was something I had to do. It’s good for me to have a bit of me back," she told Weekend Magazine in a recent interview.

  But, when duty does call and Cheryl has to leave Bear, there's only one person she trusts with him and that's her mother, Joan Tweedy. Squashing rumours that Joan has moved in with her, Cheryl did admit that she's forever traveling up and down to London to see her grandson and take care of him.

"Bless her, she travels up and down the country. When my work involves a night out that’s way past Bear’s bedtime, she will come and put him to bed. I don’t want anyone else to do that."

  And now, it appears as though Joan could be back on babysitting duty as Cheryl gets ready to start her new project with the BBC. Staring as a dance captain in their latest series, The Greatest Dancer a group of coaches is searching far and wide to find the best of the best dancers in a So You Think You Can Dance-esque competition show. That starts on BBC One, January 5 at 8pm.
