We would be the first to admit we didn’t think Cher Lloyd was big stuff. Especially not in the States.
But we will also admit, we were wrong.
Turns out Cher is quite big in the US of A, so big the police have been involved.
When Cher turned up to launch a new milkshake in West Hollywood, 3,000 of her fans turned up and the police had to shut the launch. Apparently they were not expecting the crowds Cher drew to the downtown milkshake bar.
The ‘Millions of Milkshake’ store gets celebs in on a monthly basis pulling on the shake pumps to launch various shakes, some of them limited editions.
Cher rocked up in her pink tour bus to thousands of screaming young girls, the bar had not experienced anything like it in months.
There are not many who can say they got the LAPD called to a milkshake bar…
Cher’s milkshake is called ‘Brat Attack’, ironically enough. The shake includes Oreos, marshmallows, bananas, caramel sauce, all topped with whipped cream and a cherry, just in case you want to join in the Cher mania at home.
Cher must have felt bad for the fans who didn’t get their photo taken with her as she tweeted after the event, “The pictures will be on the milkshake website tomorrow, sorry if you didn’t get a picture the LAPD shut us down!!!xxx”
Cher recently made an appearance on ‘America’s Got Talent’ to promote her album ‘Sticks and Stones’, which will be released Stateside on September 8th.
Keep it up Cher, you’re clearly doing something right!
