Chelsea Handler has some stellar advice for men who tell women to smile

"Ah go on, give us a smile"...

It's a saying we're unfortunately all accustomed to,  from being young girls through to puberty and still even when you're a grown woman. I can recall some recent night outs where men I don't know ask me to give them a smile which is not only patronizing and stupid, it's also extremely sexist - you don't see men telling other men to smile. Not one to mince her words nor hide her thoughts, comedian Chelsea Handler gave her two cents on the unfortunate phenomenon that is men telling women to smile. Following one journalist commenting on an appearance from presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Chelsea tore him to shreds. Reince Pribus commented that Hillary was not smiling at a public appearance but Chelsea challenged his stupid opinion.

"Who the f*ck are you to tell someone to smile?"

She pointed out that many actresses, athletes and models are criticised for not smiling in the media while men are not subjected to the same attacks by anyone. She also dares men to advise other men to smile, like Samuel L. Jackson who is known for his no-nonsense attitude.
