You’d think that given his recent nudie-photo kerfuffle Prince Harry would be keeping a low profile and trying not to draw attention to himself, but according to reports today the Prince has been busy entertaining his army friends by poking fun at Pippa Middleton’s new book.
Yes, the cheeky Prince, who’s own idea of a good party includes strip billiards and streaking, was sent a copy of Pippa’s party-planning book Celebrate to read during his stay at his army base in Afghanistan.
Harry immediately cracked a few jokes about Pippa’s book and has reportedly been reading passages aloud to his army mates. But, in typical Harry style, it’s all in good fun.
Harry’s army buddies call Pippa his ‘wifey in the making.’
“Harry’s the subject of lots of banter. Everyone winds him up about Pippa. They take the mickey out of their friendship by calling her his ‘wifey in the making,’” said a source, speaking to The Sun.
“Harry loves a good joke. He couldn’t resist reading chapters out loud. It’s raised morale and caused some much-needed cheer,” the insider added.
Pippa reportedly signed a whopping €50,000 deal for her party-planning book and given the fact that it now appears to be endorsed by Prince Harry himself, we imagine that Pippa could be making a hell of a lot of money in the future.
If you want to get your hands on a copy of the book in question, it hits Irish shores this Thursday. Hmm…so does this mean that Prince Harry is likely to arrive on our doorstep if we throw a Pippa-inspired party?
