Channing Tatum had the perfect reaction to Jenna Dewan’s engagement news

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan split in April 2018 but by all accounts, they still have an amicable relationship.

Earlier this week, Jenna announced her engagement to Steve Kazee, the film producer with whom she's expecting a baby this spring. Sharing the news to her Instagram account alongside a very loved-up snap, Jenna wrote "a lifetime to love and grow with you... you have my heart". When asked about the engagement news, Channing had a very diplomatic reaction and spoke of his happiness at hearing his ex-wife's plan to get married again. In conversation with E! News, a representative for the Magic Mike star said:

"Channing is very happy for Jenna and Steve's engagement. Channing has expressed that he is happy Jenna is in a good place and has moved on."

Jenna and Channing are parents to six-year-old Everly and of course, she is their main focus as they continue to co-parent their little girl. Channing is dating singer Jessie J and although they briefly split recently, they now appear to be very much together. With Jessie based in London and Channing spending a lot of time in Los Angeles to see Everly and adhere to work commitments, distance proved a problem and caused them to call time on their relationship for a period. However, since reuniting, they have been pictured together a number of times and have been sharing updates via Instagram including this rather soppy Valentine's Day themed post, which you can see below.
