Chanelle Hayes has taken to Twitter to defend herself after OK! magazine reported that she ranted about the late Jade Goody.
The reality-star-turned-glamour-model has accused the publication of twisting her words after she tweeted about her boyfriend Jack Tweed saying “no one could replace Jade” during a recent interview.
She reportedly said: “Absolutely f***ing sick of living up to a ghost and never coming close. What’s the point in the last three years of my life then?!”
Jade and Jack got married before she passed away in 2009.
It wasn’t long before Chanelle was being pulled up on her comments so she deleted them and then lashed out at OK!
“As usual, a certain magazine has made me and my son dispensable. No-one could replace her. Of course. Thanks. #twistingwords”, she began.
“Well just goes to show that online bullying really can come from anywhere. Yet I’m the one described as sickening… Just for the record Ok mag n Daily Mail are VERY biased n selective about what they report as fact [sic]”.
Jack apparently said recently that nobody could replace Jade.
The mother-of-one also posted a series of pictures showing her tweets to OK! She drew their attention to the fact that she has stood beside Jack during a rape trial and cheating scandals before addressing the issue of Jade.
“It’s tragic how she passed and I’ve always said so. But you would think that 3 years into… a relationship maybe magazines would have more respect for us as a family than to put how we couldn’t come close to… replacing her,” she wrote.
“That’s not what I want to do, but having it continually rubbed in my face that me n my son are 2nd best… by the whole of the county is a hard thing to live with. Compassionate for one person but not another it seems [sic]”.
Jade and Jack got married just before she passed away in 2009 from cervical cancer. He has been dating Chanelle, who has a son from a previous relationship, on and off since 2010.
