Celebrity Psychologist? James Franco Admits He “Tried to Help” This Troubled Actress

It’s no secret that Lindsay Lohan has been going through a tough time lately and while we’re not exactly sure why things seem to keep on going from bad to worse for the actress, James Franco has a few ideas.

According to reports, James Franco has revealed that himself and Lindsay used to be the best of friends and that he’s even tried to help the troubled actress in the past.

While they’ve since drifted apart and gone their separate ways, James has admitted in a new interview that as well as writing poetry inspired by Lilo, he would often chat with her about her problems.

“Lindsay and I had reconnect at that time,” said James, speaking to MTV.

“I had been writing some poems about the Chateau Marmont, and one or two of the poems involved Lindsay… I’ve known Lindsay for a while,” he added.

James and Lindsay used to be pretty close, but have since drifted apart

James explained  that back in the day it seemed as though Lindsay was doing okay, despite all her problems.

“I haven’t talked to her in a long time because it seemed like she was getting into some more trouble. I’ve tried to help her,” said James.

The 127 Hours actor even went so far as to speculate on why Lindsay continues to get into trouble.

“I think one of the reasons it’s so hard is when she gets in trouble, she gets all this attention and I’m sure she gets book offers,” said James.

“Like, she goes to jail, and instead of feeling like, ‘I really hit a low place,’ she’ll get a crazy offer for her jail memoir,” he added.

Well James, if acting, writing and just generally being amazing doesn’t work out for you at least you know you could have a solid career as a celebrity psychologist.
