Actor James Van Der Beek once lent Justin Timberlake his ID card to get into a club.
The ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star was joking about getting older with the Timberlake’s former ‘N Sync band mate Lance Bass and recalled the incident from their younger years.
James, 35, is four years older than Timberlake, reminisced about helping the singer to fool doormen by giving him and Lance his identification so they could party.
The two stars tweeted about their younger escapades on the micro-blogging site.
James’ admission was prompted by Lance’s joke that he feels old.
“@LanceBass If you feel old, what does that make me? (other than the old guy who once loaned you & @jtimberlake my ID to get into a club),” he wrote on Twitter.
The hilarious exchange started after James posted a photo from the set of his show ‘Don’t Trust the B**ch in Apartment 23’.
In the picture, Van Der Beek can be seen with his co-stars Krysten Ritter and ‘Malcolm In The Middle’ star Frankie Muniz.

Lance tweeted that the Muniz still looked as youthful as his famous character.
“@vanderjames he still looks like a teenager! #ifeelold,” he quipped.
