Gary Barlow has received an overwhelming amount of support from his celebrity friends, following the loss of their unborn daughter, Poppy.
Gary’s Take That bandmates are all rallying around the distraught star after himself and his wife Dawn’s fourth child was delivered stillborn.
Robbie Williams, whose wife Ayda Field is due to have their first child next month, said; “My thoughts are with Gary, Dawn and family now.”
The news comes less than two weeks after Take That band member Mark Owen’s wife Emma gave birth to their third child, Fox India.
The boys joined together to send heartfelt messages to the singer and his family, after they lost their baby Poppy on Saturday.
A source said; “They are all utterly distraught for Gary. The boys are such a tight bunch and this has really knocked them all for six. They will always be there for him.”
Gary’s wife, Dawn, was just two weeks away from her due date when Poppy arrived stillborn.
Gary said the couple’s focus was on giving Poppy a beautiful funeral and keeping their children, Daniel, Emily and Daisy, as their number one priority. The Take That star still doesn’t know whether he will take part in Sunday night’s Olympic closing ceremony.
