Over the past few months, Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian have been spotted together cheering on their men during Jay-Z and Kanye’s ‘Watch the Throne’ tour. In fact, there were rumours that the two celebs were becoming BFFs.
Then it was reported that Beyoncé and Kim couldn’t stand each other, and now? Well now Beyoncé has reportedly turned on the reality television star and accused her of trying to steal her man’s thunder. Ooh.
According to RadarOnline, Beyoncé got upset at a music festival, which was being curated by her husband last weekend, when Kim tried to muscle in on a documentary that was being filmed at the event about the rapper.
Beyoncé reportedly reminded Kim that the documentary, which was being filmed by director Ron Howard, wasn’t about her, but her husband immediately told her to make peace with Kim, because he didn’t want there to be any drama between himself and Kanye West over the incident.
But, according to reports, Beyoncé’s apology didn’t stop Kim from making a scene and she left the festival.
“Kim was desperate for attention in the VIP area and was getting in the way of cameras that were supposed to be filming Jay-Z,” said an eyewitness.
“She kept saying she was a huge fan of Ron Howard and would do anything to be cast in one of his films, so Kim was using this as an opportunity to impress the movie maverick. However, Beyoncé wasn’t amused that Kim was using her husband’s documentary to audition for Ron,” the source added.
Kim was reportedly getting in the way of filming for a documentary about Jay-Z.
Beyoncé apparently took Kim to one side and told her that the day wasn’t about her. Hmm…we imagine that didn’t go down too well with the Keeping up with the Kardashians star…
“Kim was fuming that the spotlight wasn’t on her – but Ron was there for Jay-Z, not her, and he really didn’t care if she was or wasn’t taking part in any of the filming. Step forward Jay-Z, as gracious as he is, to act as peacemaker. He said to Beyoncé that she needs to play nice with Kim because he is pals with Kanye,” said the eyewitness.
“But the damage was done. Later that night, Kim phoned her mom Kris to complain about the harsh treatment she thought she got at the festival. She just isn’t used to not getting what she wants,” the eyewitness added.
