Caroline Morahan and Daithi O’Caoimh tied the knot two months ago in Italy but the pair are yet to go on their honeymoon and find it difficult to spend time together.
According to the Irish Independent the 35-year-old star has been concentrated on her acting career in Los Angeles where the couple are now based.
Caroline moved to LA in order to pursue a career in acting.
She said: “He and I have not had a huge amount of time together this year because I’ve been away a lot. It is difficult, but that’s what I signed up for with acting – you have to go where the work is.”
The former Off the Rails presenter also said that while there are more opportunites, there is a lot more competition on the other side of the Atlantic.
“It’s completely daunting because over in LA there are opportunities everywhere, but there are 10,000 people touching down in LAX every day with the same goal,” she explained.
Although with a project starting early next year and a movie featuring in Cork Film Festival this weekend, we’d say Caroline isn’t doing too badly for herself!
