If you’ve ever pictured yourself as the future wife of Ryan Gosling, we have some bad news for you. You have some serious competition for the role.
No, no. We’re not talking about Eva Mendes – we’re talking about James Franco. Yes, the actor recently reviewed Ryan’s latest film The Place Beyond The Pines and he was so impressed with the Gos, that he actually titled his review Burning For Gosling. Seriously.
“I loved the whole film and was engaged every moment of the way. But what I want to talk about is the first section, the Gosling section; I want to make love to this section,” writes James on his blog for The Huffington Post.
“The first image we see is Gos’s toned six-pack, framed tight so that his head is cut off in order to focus our attention on the full spread of idiosyncratic tattoos. We still haven’t seen his face but we know it’s the Gos: the hair, the head, the strut,” continues James.

He goes on to talk about Ryan’s choice of clothing for the role and dubs him “a master at evoking character through dress.”
“The Drive scorpion jacket; the Blue Valentine two-tone leather, I mean, come on giiiiiirl,” writes James.
“The rest of his section is more of the same beautiful Gosling brooding and motorcycle riding,” he adds.
James finishes his love letter (sorry, we mean blog post) by saying that Ryan is a “behavioural and sartorial genius” and encourages him to “burn hard baby.”
As if Eva Mendes wasn’t enough for us to contend with already. Sigh.
