This comes nearly two years after Britney’s own memoir, The Woman in Me
A new book about Britney Spears is set to take a wild, first-person dive into her life like never before.
Cultural critic, Jeff Weiss is releasing Waiting for Britney Spears: A True Story, Allegedly on June 10th.
The book follows Britney’s rise to superstardom and the chaos that followed – from Vegas parties and marriages to legal battles and that infamous 2007 VMAs performance.
Weiss, a former tabloid reporter, covered Britney in the 2000s and brings his insider perspective to this unconventional biography.
It comes nearly two years after Britney’s own memoir, The Woman in Me.
Released on October 24th, 2023, The Woman in Me topped bestseller lists across the globe.
It revealed intimate details about her career, family, and past relationships – including her experience with abortion during her time dating Justin Timberlake.
A Britney biopic is also in the works, according to reports from Page Six, who say that Spears will be involved in the movie, but that casting has yet to begin.
Waiting for Britney Spears promises to be another must-read for fans looking for a deeper look at the pop icon’s journey.
