Brian O’Driscoll Says He’d Happily Become a “House Husband” For Wife Amy’s Career

He might look burly but Brian O'Driscoll is a big softie. The rugby player has said that he would move abroad and become a house husband if wife Amy Huberman landed her dream job.

Rugby star Brian O’Driscoll has revealed that he would be happy to move to America so that his wife Amy Huberman can pursue her acting career.

The Ireland and Leinster player said that he wouldn’t mind becoming a stay-at-home husband if she was to land a job abroad.

Brian revealed that he would move abroad when he retires from the game.

“I would absolutely envisage if there was a situation where she had to film something, even in London or the States, I’d be happy to travel over once the rugby is done and play house husband,” the 33-year-old explained on the Ray D’Arcy Show.

The Threesome actress, who is currently enjoying a run on Comedy Central, has already suffered a setback in the US when she was axed from the second series of Animal Practice.

Although it seems that it could have been a blessing in disguise as the programme has been slated by critics and Amy admitted it would have put a strain on her marriage.

Amy is enjoying success with Threesome which is being shown on Comedy Central.

The Irish Daily Mirror quotes her as saying: “It was going to be massively stressful and put a huge amount of pressure on us if we went.”

But Amy might not be the only one who could end up moving across the water. Rumours have it Brian could end up in Australia if he joins Sydney side New South Wales Waratahs.

Either way, we think it’s sweet that Brian would follow Amy to the other side of the world and we’re pretty sure she would do the same for him.
