Brian O’Driscoll might spend his days lifting weights and running around on a pitch but he showed his softer side this week when he spoke about his new baby girl.
The Irish rugby star admitted that he has been on “cloud nine” since the arrival of Sadie two weeks ago.
Brian’s other half announced the news of Sadie’s arrival on Twitter.
As you may well know his wife, and Threesome actress, Amy Huberman gave birth on the day that Ireland were playing England.
Speaking to the Irish Daily Mirror about his daughter’s timing, O’Driscoll said it was “very considerate” of her to arrive in time for him to play in the Six Nations match.
The happy couple have just added to their family.
While both proud parents have talked about their little bundle of joy, they are yet to reveal the first baby picture but we reckon it will be well worth the wait when they do.
