This might just make it official – one 2005 movie probably boasted the closest female cast of all time.
Actress Blake Lively gave birth to her first daughter James with Green Lantern star Ryan Reynolds in December of last year, and now it has emerged that she turned to some other former co-stars to fulfil a very important role.
Gossip Girl star Lively, who has been married to Reynolds since September 2012, has made her three Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars — Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Alexis Biedel — godmothers to her baby girl.
Tambyln confirmed the news during an appearance on VH1’s Morning Buzz Live. Host Nick Lachey said to the actress of her role in the teen film: “You’re still very close with your co-stars and the three of you are godmothers to Blake Lively’s baby — is that a fact?”
“Yes, that is a fact,” Tamblyn replied.
The foursome reunited onscreen for a sequel to the teen movie hit in 2008.
