Essex boy Rylan Clark might just about be the vainest person to ever appear on the small screen for Celebrity Big Brother and the X Factor star is finding it tougher to manage his cosmetic regime as the days go by.
Nicole Scherzinger’s former contestant spent hours trying to hide his ginger roots by dying his beard yesterday afternoon.
The man used to tanning beds, Botox appointments, hair bookings and makeup regimes is finding it tough with just his basic hair-dye.
But he’s managing.
He also managed to convince Claire Richards to help him dye his beard black and said to her: “We’re not all born with a dark beard like Italians! Some of us have got to fake it!”
After about 30 minutes of applying the solution to his perfect facial hair topiary, Rylan occupied himself by looking at his potential wrinkles in the mirror.

The reality television star has gone to great lengths to alter his natural appearance and has spoken openly in the past about his many procedures.
After growing up with ginger locks he’s experimented with blonde extensions and his now-much darker groomed look. His eyebrows maintain their dark colour and sculpted shape, leading us to believe he may have had them tattooed.
Speaking to The Sun in 2012, he said: “I was the fat, ginger kid at school. The bullying was bad. It affected my education.
“I got pulled off a swing and some boy kicked me in the head and fractured my skull. I was in hospital. It was homophobic bullying.
“I am really obsessed with my image. I’ve had Botox and had my lips done. I probably spend two thirds of my wages on cosmetics.”
