Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bailik was involved in a serious car accident and severely damaged his left hand.
The actress, who plays scientist Amy in the hit show, suffered severe cuts to her left hand and thumb in the accident.
Bailik, who plays scientist Amy in the quirky comedy, tweeted about the crash yesterday.
"(husband typing) In pain but will keep all my fingers. If u wanna see pre accident me watch The Soup tonight lol," she wrote.

According to Radar Online, the accident was happened when a car containing three Chilean tourists crashed into the actress’ Volvo yesterday afternoon.
Bailik is nominated for an Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for her work on the Big Bang Theory.
The 36 year old recently published a book on attachment parenting and lives with her husband Michael and their two children.
