Beyoncé’s half brother and his mother have been forced to move to a trailer park after they could no longer afford to pay rent on their three bedroomed home in LA.
Nixon Knowles and his mother Alexsandra Wright, who had an affair with Beyoncé’s father Matthew Knowles, told Inside Edition that they could no longer afford to pay rent on their home after a judge substantially reduced Matthew Knowles’ child support payments from $12,000 to $2,500 a month.
Knowles, a 61-year-old record executive who married a 48-year-old woman last July, reportedly became delinquent in his support payments because he says his income has taken a considerable dive since he no longer manages his famous daughter.
The judge who approved the reduction in payments has also granted Knowles credit in overpayments meaning Wright will not legally be entitled to any funds on behalf of her son for the next three and a half years.
Adding to her financial difficulties, Wright has been getting thousands of death threats per week, claiming a recent article suggested she ‘blamed Beyoncé for her predicament’ .
Wright attacked Knowles during a TV interview last month, claiming he had never even met his son. Speaking to reporters at Inside Edition, she said:
‘You’ve seen more of my son than he has.’
A women’s support group arranged for the pair to move into a trailer after Wright was forced to go on public assistance.
