Concert films seem to be the newest way to see your favourite artists in action.

Beyoncé has released a new trailer that teases footage from behind-the-scenes of her sellout Renaissance Tour.

The preview for the film, which is formally named ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce’, shows live performances, fan reactions, and rehearsals with her daughter, Blue Ivy, 11, and time with Jay-Z and their other two children, Rumi and Sir, both aged 6.

“Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply,” Queen Bey told her followers as she dropped the news of the upcoming film.

Similar to Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour movie, the Renaissance film will be be screened in AMC Theatre cinemas in the US, with Beyoncé to collect in excess if 50% of box office grosses, according to the outlet.

The singer has already opened ticket pre-sales for US theatres for viewings from December 1st.

“When I am performing, I am nothing but free,” Beyoncé can be heard saying in the trailer over a montage of images from the road.

“My goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged.”

The film will have highlights from the world tour, documentary footage of the album’s recording and the tour’s conception – and the long-awaited music videos for the rumoured accompanying visual album, sources have told told Variety.

This isn’t the Break My Soul singer’s first rodeo when it comes to concert films as her Homecoming hit Netflix in 2019, which detailed the making of her 2018 Coachella headlining set.
