Beyoncé is to show her charitable side and launch a global campaign to help volunteer workers worldwide.
The singer will launch the campaign on World Humanitarian Day. The aim is to raise money for a fund that can help volunteers and their work across the world.
The pop beauty and mother-of-one, 30, performed at the UN General Assembly Hall to record a video of her 2011 track, ‘I Was Here’.
It will be released on August 19th to help raise awareness.
The Grammy-Award winning star hopes to reach one billion people and encourage them to donate online at www.whd-iwashere.org.
