“Children and maturity have taught me to value myself beyond my physical appearance.”
Beyoncé doesn’t give any fucks about her changing body shape – and you shouldn’t either.
The ‘Formation’ singer, mother-of-three, and all-round icon has said that she stopped caring about her fluctuating weight a long time ago.
In a candid – and rare enough for Queen Bey – interview, she said that her perspective of her body has shifted a lot since she was younger.
“If someone told me 15 years ago that my body would go through so many changes and fluctuations, and that I would feel more womanly and secure with my curves, I would not have believed them,” she told Elle UK.

“But children and maturity have taught me to value myself beyond my physical appearance and really understand that I am more than enough no matter what stage I’m at in life.”
Beyoncé, who recently admitted to following an intensely strict diet ahead of her 2018 Coachella performance, added that she thinks people should focus on themselves more than others’ appearances.
“Giving zero f*cks is the most liberating place to be,” she said
“Also knowing true beauty is something you cannot see. I wish more people focused on discovering the beauty within themselves rather than critiquing other folks’ grills.”
Preach, etc.
Beyoncé appears on the cover of this month’s Elle decked out in pieces from her Blue Ivy x Adidas collection.
The edition drops on December 12th.
