This is going to be AMAZING.

When it comes to Ryan Murphy shows, there’s one thing that is all-but-officially guaranteed: it’s going to have an amazing cast.

Glee. Scream Queen. Feud. Post. American Horror Story. 9-1-1.

They’ve all had stellar (and star-studded) casts – and some familiar famous faces guest-starring – at some point.

His upcoming Netflix comedy, The Politician, looks to be no exception with Bette Midler and Judith Light recently signing on.

Variety report that the super-producer announced the news at a PayleyFest panel for Pose on Saturday.

Any further details about their roles have not yet been revealed.

The Politician stars Dear Evan Hansen’s Ben Platt as Payton Hobart, a wealthy student from Santa Barbara, California, who has known since age seven that he’s going to be President of the United States.

But first he’ll have to navigate the most treacherous political landscape of all: Saint Sebastian High School.

To get elected Student Body President, secure a spot at Harvard, and stay on his singular path to success, Payton will have to outsmart his ruthless classmates without sacrificing his own morality and carefully crafted image.

Full of dark comedy and sly satire, Ryan Murphy’s The Politician offers a rare glimpse into just what it takes to make a politician.

The cast also includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Lange, Zoey Deutch, Lucy Boynton, Bob Balaban, David Corenswet, Julia Schlaepfer, Laura Dreyfuss, Theo Germaine, Rahne Jones, and Benjamin Barrett.

Like we said, it’s impressive.

The Politician will premiere on Netflix on September 27.
