Barack Obama Voices His Support For Caitlyn Jenner

Barack Obama has tweeted his support for Caitlyn Jenner in the wake of her Vanity Fair cover.  Following Caitlyn Jenner's debut on the cover of Vanity Fair, celebrities have come forward in their droves to offer their support for her courageous message. Now the US President has taken to Twitter to echo this support:

Obama also called on his followers to share their personal experiences with LGBT issues, saying: "Stories are the most powerful way to measure success in the fight for LGBT equality. "Share why you're proud to fight and what progress means to you." The stunning photos were shot by Annie Leibovitz.  Obama's @POTUS account previously held the record for fastest-growing Twitter account ever, until Caitlyn joined Twitter this week and amassed 1 million followers in the first five hours.
