Former X Factor “bad boy” Frankie Cocozza is in a bit of a pickle after police caught him allegedly failing to pay for alcohol in a Brighton supermarket.
The CCTV footage shows singer Frankie at the self service machine in the shop. He repeatedly enters his card’s PIN number before leaving the supermarket before the transaction was complete.
Police told The Irish Sun that that they are trying to figure out if Frankie’s actions were “a genuine error or a shoplifting incident.”
“The footage shows he entered his PIN a number of times,” a source told the Irish newspaper, “It is unclear whether he thinks the transaction has finished or whether it is deliberate. He’s walked away and the transaction is incomplete.
“There’s no way of knowing whether it was shoplifting or a genuine error.”
But a spokesperson for the singer has denied Frankie’s involvement in the incident.
Frankie is under a shoplifting incident in Brighton.
Frankie starred as the token controversial finalist in The X Factor in 2011. His cheeky nature meant he was repeatedly voted through to the next round despite, eh-hem, not having the brightest talent.
The singer was kicked off the show for drug use, but recently claimed that his new music career helped him turn his life around.
