It’s no wonder Ashton Kutcher has a big smile on his face. After all he’s going out the hottest woman on the planet and has just been named as the highest paid actor on television!
The Two and a Half Men actor has topped Forbes’ rich list, taking the crown from Charlie Sheen who he also replaced on the popular sitcom.
Ashton’s new role on the sitcom has contributed to his fortune.
Ashton reportedly banked $24 million (just over €18 million) for his role while Charlie slipped off the top ten list despite enjoying success with his new show Anger Management.
But it’s not just Ashton’s small screen performance that is bringing in the doe for the 34-year-old who also has a number of other investments.
Charlie Sheen not only lost out on poll position but didn’t make the list.
Forbes magazine said: “Kutcher took over for Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men and quickly became one of the highest-paid men on television. Ratings have slipped a bit but the show is still a bona fide hit for CBS.”
House star Hugh Laurie, Alec Baldwin from 30 Rock and How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel also made it onto the list.
