When Ariana Grande released thank u, next last November, it was a real cultural moment. Mainstream pop has had plenty of breakup anthems and girl power bangers but never has a song about the personal growth that the end of a relationship can bring resonated so widely. She looked back on each relationship fondly and honestly made us believe that she was moving on from all of them. But, according to TMZ, not so. The news site has reported that Ari was spotted "snuggling" with her ex Big Sean this week. It has photos of the pair leaving a recording studio together and hanging out in his car with one of her dogs. The pics aren't damning evidence but certainly hint that something is going on. To be fair, Ari left the door open for a future reunion with Sean in her video for thank u, next. Eagle-eyed fans will recall that she wrote "could still get it" on his page in the Burn Book, so maybe we should have seen this coming. Ariana and Big Sean dated for a year before they went their separate ways in April of 2015.
