Anna Faris engaged to cinematographer Michael Barrett, has been ‘for a long time’

Allison Janney kept it very quiet... Until now.

Anna Faris is engaged to cinematographer Michael Barrett - and apparently has been for a long time. The Scary Movie actor was first linked to Barrett back in 2017 after they met on the set of Overload following Faris's split from Chris Pratt. The pair went on a string of dates and are now seemingly engaged to be married. At least, that's according to Faris's Troop Zero co-star Allison Janney, who revealed the news to PEOPLE today.  “I kept it very quiet, I’ll have you know! So, I celebrated with them a long time ago,” said Janney. "I saw the ring one day (...) “I went into her room to work on lines, and then I was like, ‘What is that ring on your finger?'” “I think she was waiting for everyone to notice. ‘Oh, that’s it,’ and then, yeah, it was fun.” Faris announced that she and ex Pratt were divorcing in summer of 2017, however she added that they will remain "incredible friends." “There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me, still," she told PEOPLE at the time. "We watched each other grow, and he still cracks me up all the time. And I think I crack him up - unless he’s a really good actor and great at faking laughter.” Pratt has since remarried himself, tying the knot with Katherine Schwarzenegger last year. Faris said at the time that she wanted to officiate their wedding. "I knew that it was gonna happen, and I love her and I love him. I'm just so happy that they found each other," she said at the time. "Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, I proposed to Katherine last night. And I was like ahhh, that's amazing." Faris's new fiancée Barrett is best known for his work on Ted and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.  He received an ASC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography in 2002 for his work on TV show CSI.
