Anna Faris and Chris Pratt celebrated the arrival of their first child, Jack, on Saturday.
According to People magazine, a representative for the comedy couple said: “He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU. The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time.”
Anna revealed her pregnancy in May when her bump was clearly visible at the premiere of The Dictator.
The couple wed in 2009 and plan to have many children together
The actress had been due to give birth in autumn.
The couple has been open about their desire to start a family together and Anna said Chris is keen to have a lot of children together.
“Chris wants a big family. I do want a lot of kids. We want to populate the world,” she said.
