Ben Haenow has been crowned the winner of the 2014 X-Factor Final. The 29-year old battled it out against Fleur East in the X-Factor final show tonight, walking away with a recording contract in the latest series of the reality show. In the first of the final shows this weekend, the singer took to the stage with Ed Sheeran for what most named the performance of the series: Ben has been a firm favourite to win the show, after leaked votes from last week’s semi-final vote showed the Croydon hopeful scoop 55% of the vote. The singer will now be signed to Simon Cowell’s record label, releasing the winner’s single in a bid for the number 1 slot this Christmas.
