Amy Huberman has revealed that she was worried she wouldn’t get work after announcing her pregnancy.

The actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Brian O’Driscoll, didn’t think that people would still want to work with her.

Amy and Brian announced their good news earlier this month.

Speaking to the Irish Sunday Mirror, the Threesome star said: “I thought no one would touch me with a bargepole but I’ve been proved wrong and people have surprised me.”

Amy is currently shooting The Stag which is an Irish comedy film but is planning to take a break when it finishes.

“I’m probably going to put my feet up and have a child. That’s my next job. After that, I’ll take a couple of months off and then get back on the horse, whatever that ends up being.

“But it’s been lovely to work through the pregnancy and for people to be cool with it,” she added.

As well as filming movies, the 33-year-old has also just released her new book which she admits was hard work.

“It’s kind of scary – the first book went to number one for three weeks so there’s a little bit of pressure to do the same.”
