What began as someone quoting lyrics from a song has turned out to be quite a nasty Twitter exchange.
Former Miss Ireland Amanda Brunker was posting lines from Azealia Banks’ song ‘212’ when she gave up and wrote: ‘Ok, I’m not black enough to tease the rest of the lyrics… Gotta love it though.’
This statement provoked a reaction from the female rapper who then called the journalist ‘ignorant.’
The exchange on Twitter between Amanda and Azealia earlier today.
Amanda retorted by writing that her post wasn’t meant to be ‘insulting’ before asking if she could direct message Azealia.
As to whether her plea was answered, nobody knows but Amanda’s last post suggests that it wasn’t.
It read: ‘Can peace, love and understanding please return to the Twitterverse? Thank you in advance x.’
