Afroman has apologised for punching a female fan during a recent concert but that hasn’t stopped a number of venues from cancelling his performances.
The rapper, who is facing court after striking a woman in the head when she made her way onto stage during one of his gigs, has had a number of other venues pull out on him.
According to TMZ the 21-year-old victim has also hired a legal representative and is seeking reimbursement for her medical bills.
Lawyer Tim Holleman told the website that she suffered injuries to her jaw, neck and back. He also thinks she may have suffered a mild concussion as she doesn’t remember the incident.
Afroman was arrested and booked with assault because of his behaviour. A statement was later released by his camp describing the punch as an “involuntary reflex reaction.”
During a live statement for TMZ the Because I Got High singer also said: “I’m here to apologise. I need some help. I’m going to find a foundation… I didn’t have time to medicate. It was an early show.”
