Adam Collard allegedly attacked on night out with Paige Thorne

Former Love Island star Adam Collard has allegedly been attacked during a night out with girlfriend and fellow islander Paige Thorne. According to footage from The Mirror, Adam was involved in a fight that has left him "extremely shaken up" and his shirt being ripped open. He was reportedly approached by a group of men while in a pub enjoying a quiet few drinks with friends in Newcastle on Tuesday night. According to reports, an altercation began and the video shows the moment Adam's shirt was torn off, and security guards were forced to intervene in a second video obtained by The Sun. The group were then split up and went home, with one eyewitness telling The Sun: "Everyone was trying to crowd him and I think they were trying to crowd Paige and Adam wasn’t happy at all which was understandable. “Then people started to rip his top off and it all kicked off. It’s no surprise he wanted to defend himself and was obviously looking out for Paige as well. “They were just out a drink together with friends and they didn’t need that hassle." Adam's representative confirmed to The Mirror that Adam and his friends are "extremely shaken up" since the incident happened. They said: “Adam was trying to enjoy a quiet night in his hometown with friends when a large group of men began aggressively harassing them. “Despite several attempts to diffuse the situation, the men continued to become more aggressive and started physically attacking Adam." “Understandably, Adam and his friends were extremely shaken up by the situation and felt it was best to leave and we’re safely escorted by the security team outside.” They also confirmed that "no further action has been taken".
