It might not be surprising but it looks as if it is going to be official as it has been revealed that Paula Patton has filed for divorce from husband Robin Thicke.
The actress, best known for her roles in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and Baggage Claim, has apparently cited “irreconcilable differences” in the papers, lodged last week.
According to reports this morning, she is asking for joint custody of their four-year-old son Julian Fuego.
The star couple announced that they were taking some time apart back in February after which Robin made a number of public apologies and declarations of love to Paula.
At the time, they said in a statement: “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”
Paula and Robin, of Blurred Lines fame, tied the knot back in 2005 but have known each other since they were 14 years old.
The couple have been married for nine years and have a four-year-old son together.
