You might have heard about Anne Hathaway flashing a little more than she meant to at the Les Misérables premiere in New York this week but now the actress has spoken out about her, we’re not going to lie, horrific fashion faux pas.
The stunning star is the latest in a long line of ladies to expose a little more flesh than intended when getting out of her car. And no, it wasn’t a nipple flash… although we’re betting she wishes it was!
Anne looked fabulous but had a bit of a mishap when she got out of the car.
Anne unfortunately didn’t put on any underwear and thus gave the photographers a glimpse of her lady bits (it’s the nicest term we can think of) when she stepped out onto the red carpet.
According to the New York Daily News the 30-year-old actress, who looked stunning in her black dress, told Vanity Fair the next day that she was incredibly embarrassed about the whole thing.
Don’t worry, this is a scene from the film which has received great reviews so far.
She said: “I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn’t realise until I saw all the photographer’s flashes. It was devastating. They saw everything. I may as well have lifted up my skirt for them.”
But the fact is you didn’t Anne and you’ve learnt a very important lesson: no matter how tight your dress is, how high the slit goes up your leg or how much Rachel from Friends makes ‘going commando’ sound good, some sort of underwear is always better than none at all.
