The couple, who have only been dating for eight months, are reportedly taking a trip to Scotland where Butler is rumoured to be doing the deed.
The Playing For Keeps star revealed recently that he is keen to settle down and start a family as soon as possible.
He has been dating Madalina Ghenea for eight months now.
An insider told the publication: “Gerard is crazy about Madalina and he really wants a baby as soon as possible.
“He’s scared of getting any older before having a baby – he knows time isn’t on his side.”
While it might mean he’s officially off the market, we do like the sound of a potential celebrity wedding and baby!
