Dustin Hoffman has revealed that he has been treated for cancer. The news was revealed by his representative this evening.
According to People, the actor will undergo doctor-recommended preventative treatments to the minimise the chance of recurrence in the future.
His rep Jodi Gottlieb commented: "It was detected early and he has been surgically cured. Dustin is feeling great and is in good health.”
However, Gottlieb refused to comment any further on the type of cancer Hoffman was suffering from or what kind of treatments he underwent.
This has not stopped the actor working to date however, his new film Chef is currently on release in the States and he is just beginning work on Kung Fu Panda 3.
