Michael and Rachel started dating after meeting on a film set.
But back to the matter at hand, The Notebook actress and her beau of two years have decided to go their separate ways according to Us Weekly.
Rachel and Michael first went public with their romance back in 2010 having met on the set of Midnight in Paris.
Rachel also had a long-term relationship with her Notebook co-star.
No reason has been given for the split although Rachel recently spoke about finding it difficult to spend time with her beau due to their busy schedules.
And while we are sad to see another lovely couple end their relationship, we are sort of clinging onto the hope she and Ryan Gosling (swoon) will see sense and get back together.
