Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past few days, you’ll have heard that Justin Bieber was late onstage on Monday night.
Why?
He had a late one the night before… playing video games. We’re not joking.
According to The Sun, the star got up late and then spent his time playing video games. They went on to claim that he threw a tantrum back stage, and was rude to fans who had won a meet and greet competition.
A staff member who did not want to be named told the paper, “He was arguing with members of his management, his family. It was a really uncomfortable atmosphere. His attitude was, ‘I’m the star and I can do what I want’.”
Another source added, “His lateness was because he didn’t get out of bed until late and sat in his dressing room playing games – even though his door was being knocked.
“He then threw a strop as he said he wanted a shower first, despite already being late. Justin arrived at the O2 at 3pm to do some meet and greets, but he didn’t get up until late because he’d had a heavy night at his hotel.”
A fan who met the singer, and didn’t want to be named, explained that she got less than ten seconds with the singer and, when she asked for a hug, he told her, “I don’t have time.”
Her dad continued, “The way he has treated my daughter and her friend is appalling, like dirt. They won the competition to meet him, but paid an extra £150 each to see him in concert afterwards and how has he repaid them? By acting like a spoiled brat. It’s disgusting.”
Bieber was half an hour early on stage last night in an attempt to make up for Monday.
He also said the delay had been due to “technical problems,” and faces a fine of up to £50,000 for going over curfew.
