We imagine Jared received a few strange looks when he stepped out at the 22nd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City on Monday Night. Mainly because he has shaved his eyebrows off. Yes, seriously.
Jared has undergone this transformation for a new role
No, he hasn’t gone mad – the actor is sporting the hairless look for a role in his new film The Dallas Buyers Club which seems him playing the part of a HIV-positive transvestite. Can we just add that this film is the reason why Matthew McConaughey has been looking so rough lately.
Is it just us or does Jared look positively freaky in this picture?
Anyway, earlier this month Jared posted pictures on Twitter of a waxing session.
“Ladies, I feel your pain. What I have learned today: beauty is pain. Wax on, wax off” he tweeted.
He also shared pictures of his eyebrows being waxed and a very sore-looking (but hairless) arm pit.
“I just waxed my legs for this new role. Time to get into character. Pluck, pluck, pluck. Filming this week!” he added.
